About IND Investments

Unlocking cash flow across India's supply chains

IND Investments is a Chennai-based supply chain finance platform founded and led by CEO Anand Palaniswamy. The company operates at the intersection of manufacturing, distribution, and investment — providing credit solutions that solve one of India’s most persistent B2B financial challenges: the working capital gap created by long payment cycles between manufacturers and distributors.

India’s manufacturing and distribution supply chains are frequently strained by payment terms of 100–180 days — meaning manufacturers deliver goods and wait months for payment, while distributors struggle to meet supplier payment deadlines without adequate liquidity. IND Investments bridges both sides: advancing up to 90% of invoice value to suppliers within 48 hours of approval, and giving buyers structured payment terms that smooth procurement cycles without disrupting supplier relationships. The platform serves three audiences simultaneously — Suppliers, Buyers, and Investors — through five tailored financial products.

Platform differentiators

Sectors served

Five financial products

One platform — five ways to unlock supply chain liquidity

For Suppliers

Receivables Invoice : Upload pending invoices, get paid immediately. IND collects directly from the buyer.

For Buyers

Payables Invoice : IND pays suppliers directly on the buyer's behalf. Buyer repays in structured instalments.

For Both

Dynamic Discounting : Buyers offer early payment at a discount — suppliers get paid faster, buyers save on cost.

For Buyers

Inventory Investment : IND funds inventory purchases up to the agreed limit — enabling buyers to stock without liquidity strain.

For Buyers

Buyer Investment : Structured credit facility for buyers to manage procurement cycles with flexible spending limits.

The challenge

A complex financial product — that needed to feel simple, fast, and trustworthy

Supply chain finance is not an easy product to explain. Invoice discounting, receivables factoring, dynamic discounting, and inventory credit are concepts that many Indian SME founders, manufacturing directors, and procurement managers encounter for the first time through a platform like IND Investments. Complexity kills conversion in FinTech — especially at the top of the funnel, where a busy CFO or business owner needs to understand the product within the first scroll and feel confident enough to apply.

The website needed to simultaneously explain complex financial mechanics in plain language, communicate 48-hour speed as a genuine differentiator in a category dominated by slow institutional lenders, build enough trust for a CEO or CFO to share sensitive invoice data, and serve three entirely different audiences — Suppliers, Buyers, and Investors — from a single domain without making any one of them feel like the site wasn’t built for them.

UX & conversion challenges

SEO & content challenges

Three-audience platform

Suppliers, Buyers, and Investors — each with their own journey

Audience 01

Suppliers (Manufacturers) : Receive up to 90% of invoice value within 48 hours. No more waiting 100–180 days for buyer payment. IND handles collection directly — the manufacturer gets liquidity, the buyer relationship is preserved.

Audience 02

Buyers (Distributors) No need to arrange large margin amounts. IND pays suppliers on the buyer's behalf. Repayment in structured instalments over an agreed period — optimising the cash conversion cycle without disrupting procurement.

Audience 03

Investors : Earn returns by funding the supply chain credit facility. IND manages the deployment — investors get exposure to supply chain credit as an asset class with structured return profiles.

How it works — the IND workflow

Six steps from purchase order to payment — visualised

One of the most important design challenges on the IND Investments website was making the supply chain finance workflow comprehensible to buyers and suppliers who may not be familiar with invoice discounting or factoring mechanics. Aximz designed a clear, step-by-step workflow visualisation built into the homepage and product pages.

Buyer issues PO to Supplier

The process begins when the buyer places a formal purchase order, establishing the transaction basis.

Supplier delivers goods to Buyer

Goods are shipped and received by the buyer, creating a verified delivery and transaction record.

Supplier sends invoice to IND

Instead of waiting 100–180 days for buyer payment, the supplier submits the invoice to IND for immediate processing.

IND transfers funds to Supplier

IND advances up to 90% of the invoice value directly to the supplier within 48 hours of approval.

Iconography & illustrations

IND takes over the collection process, sending the invoice to the buyer with structured repayment terms.

Buyer repays IND in 100–180 day instalments

The buyer pays IND in agreed instalments over the credit period, preserving supplier relationships while managing cash flow.

Our Approach

Simple language, fast clarity, trust at every scroll point

01

Audience mapping & financial product architecture

Mapped the three buyer audiences — Suppliers (focused on speed and advance rate), Buyers (focused on flexibility and no upfront costs), and Investors (focused on returns and risk management) — and designed distinct journey paths for each from the homepage. Product architecture: five products grouped logically under Supplier Solutions (Receivables Invoice) and Buyer Solutions (Payables Invoice, Dynamic Discounting, Inventory Investment, Buyer Investment) — with Dynamic Discounting bridging both, surfaced in both audience sections. The navigation structure Services + Business mirrors this split: Services explains the products, Business speaks directly to the audience persona. Every visitor lands in the right conversation within one click.

02

Website design — trust, speed, and financial clarity

Designed the IND Investments website on WordPress with Elementor — building a FinTech visual language that communicates credibility and efficiency without the clinical coldness of traditional financial services. Homepage: "Unlock Your Cash Flow" as the immediate value proposition — every business owner in manufacturing or distribution feels that problem. 48-hour approval surfaced within the hero section — the product's most powerful competitive differentiator. Anand Palaniswamy's CEO profile and signature placed prominently on the homepage — supply chain finance is a trust-dependent category where a named, credible leadership team converts significantly better than an anonymous platform. Four differentiator cards (Easy Access, Fast Solutions, Flexible Solutions, Trusted Partner) built as visual anchors for the buyer evaluation process. Sector grid (Manufacturing, Construction, Retail, Healthcare, Pharma) structured to enable each sector-specific visitor to self-identify and click through to relevant content. The 6-step workflow animated sequence designed to explain the IND Investments model in a single visual narrative — from purchase order to payment collection.

03

Financial services copywriting — plain language, no jargon

Wrote all website copy — homepage, five product pages, three audience pages, about, and sector content — in the plain-spoken language of an Indian business owner, not a financial analyst. Core messaging principles: lead with the business outcome (get paid faster, grow more, worry less) not the financial mechanism. The product names (Receivables Invoice, Payables Invoice) are descriptive enough — the copy's job is to make the benefit and process vivid, not re-explain the name. "Upload your invoices. Get paid." as the supplier proposition in five words. "Signup with us. We got your purchases covered." as the buyer proposition — conversational, direct, and reassuring. Process language demystified: "We promptly assess your information" not "due diligence and credit evaluation are conducted" — reducing perceived friction at the application stage.

04

SEO strategy — capturing Indian B2B finance search intent

Keyword research: 230+ terms mapped across supply chain finance, invoice discounting, working capital solutions, invoice factoring, and sector-specific finance queries for India. Product pages individually optimised: Receivables Invoice page targets "invoice discounting India," "sell invoices get paid faster India"; Payables Invoice targets "supplier payment solution India," "pay supplier on behalf India"; Dynamic Discounting targets "early payment discount suppliers India"; Inventory Investment targets "inventory finance India," "stock finance manufacturer India." Sector pages optimised for manufacturing finance, construction project finance, and distribution working capital queries. Meta titles structured to lead with the business outcome rather than the product name — improving click-through from finance-intent queries. Schema markup: FinancialService, Organization, FAQPage, and BreadcrumbList across all key pages. Internal linking: product pages link to audience pages, audience pages link back to product pages — building topic authority around supply chain finance.
