Mohamed Faiz N — Founder, Aximz Technologies
The Beginning
My journey with design started long before it became a career. As a kid, I was always drawing and sketching — notebooks, walls, anything within reach. The moment I got my first PC at 18, that curiosity found a new outlet. Between long sessions of MMORPGs, I found myself equally drawn to software like Photoshop and Illustrator, teaching myself to design, edit, and create just for the love of it. What started as editing pictures for fun slowly became something I wanted to get better at, deliberately.
Building the Foundation
That curiosity shaped my education. I pursued a B.Sc. in Visual Communication, alongside a diploma in Creative Design and Animation, both here in Chennai, and graduated as a topper in both programs. It wasn’t just about grades; it was about proving to myself that the thing I loved doing as a hobby could hold up academically and professionally.
From there, I stepped into the corporate world — first at Amazon, and later at SportsInsight Ltd. These years taught me something design courses don’t: how creative work actually moves inside a business. How decisions get made, how priorities shift, how a good idea needs more than good design to become a good outcome. That understanding of business — not just design — became the foundation for everything that came next.

Starting Levels N Curves
In June 2012, I started Levels N Curves Creative Studios. We began with what I knew best — branding, logo design, brochures, and stationery for businesses that wanted a strong, distinct visual identity. It was small, focused work, but it was ours.
As our client base grew, so did their needs. Almost every brand we worked with eventually asked the same question: “Can you also build us a website?” So we expanded — hiring developers, adding web design and development to what Levels N Curves offered.
The Pivot to Aximz Technologies
Then came a different kind of request. Businesses started approaching us for web applications and mobile apps — bigger, more technical projects. And we noticed something: when these clients looked at Levels N Curves — a brand built around creative, design-led work — it didn’t immediately tell them “we can handle your technology project.”
The brand that had served us so well for creative work was, ironically, holding us back in technology conversations. So in September 2016, we built something new: Aximz Technologies. A brand designed from the ground up to feel corporate, capable, and technology-first — built for businesses that needed websites, applications, eCommerce platforms, and digital systems they could rely on.
Levels N Curves kept its creative, design-forward identity. Aximz Technologies took on a more structured, corporate one. Same team, same standards — but two distinct identities, each speaking the language its audience needed to hear.
Moments That Shaped Me
2014 — Working with Amazon, one of the proudest moments early on was when our team got the opportunity to work on image processing for Amazon’s Chennai operations. I remember the level of precision and consistency they expected — it was a completely different standard from anything we’d worked on before, and it pushed me to build processes and quality checks that we still use today. It taught me that “good enough” and “Amazon-good” were two very different things.
2015 — Learning From Ask Sunday Working with Ask Sunday, one of the world’s leading virtual assistant companies, gave me a front-row seat into how US businesses operated — their pace, their expectations, their way of communicating. It was my first real exposure to working closely with an international team, and it shaped how I think about client communication to this day.
2016 — The Myntra Project Getting to work on something connected to Myntra was a moment I genuinely remember being excited about — it was one of the first times I felt like the work we were doing in Chennai was touching something at a national scale. It gave me a lot of confidence in what our team was capable of.
2018 — Bag House America Working with Bag House America was different from anything we’d done before — a US-based manufacturing business, completely outside the design and tech bubble I was used to. It taught me how to understand an industry I knew nothing about, ask the right questions, and translate that into work that actually made sense for their business.
2019 — Expedition Voyages This project stuck with me because it combined two things I love — travel and storytelling. Helping Expedition Voyages bring their experiences online felt less like client work and more like building something I’d genuinely want to use myself.
What These Years Taught Me
Looking back, each of these projects added something to how I work — precision from Amazon, communication from Ask Sunday, confidence from Myntra, adaptability from Bag House America, and a reminder of why I love this work, from Expedition Voyages. None of it happened because we had it all figured out. It happened because we said yes, figured it out as we went, and tried to do right by the people who trusted us.
That’s still how I approach every new project today.
Where We Are Today
Years later, Aximz Technologies has grown into our flagship brand for technology and growth. We’ve delivered 650+ projects for clients across India, the US, UK, Canada, and the Middle East — spanning web development, eCommerce (Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce), digital marketing, UI/UX design, mobile app development, and video production. We’re also now exploring AI-based development, applying the same curiosity that started this whole journey to the newest tools available.
Philosophy
If there’s one thing that’s stayed constant from sketching as a kid to running Aximz today, it’s this: stay curious, and figure it out. Every skill I’ve built — design, development, business — started with not knowing how to do something, and deciding to learn it anyway. That’s the mindset we try to bring to every client project: we’re not just executing a brief, we’re partners, figuring out what will actually move your business forward.
It’s been a long way from editing photos on a secondhand PC — but the curiosity that started it all hasn’t changed, and it’s the same curiosity driving where we go next.
